Nowadays, contemporary design, sleek feel, and tons of features are what kids want in their cell phones. Let’s face it, it’s no longer uncommon for kids to have cell phones even at age 10. Cell phones provide entertainment, and allow kids to build social skills through communication while teaching them about responsibility and technology. When purchasing a cell phone for your child, first consider the brand.  The best phones tend to come from brands like LG, Samsung, and Motorola cell phones.

When selecting the model of the phone, be sure to involve your kids as well. They’ll want to see all the features, but make sure they don’t make their decision based on aesthetics. If they don’t like the façade of the phone, they can always augment it with Ed Hardy cell phone cases. You can also customize a cell phone plan that limits your child’s ability to text message and call their friends, so they learn the important management skills as well.

Smartphones Create Opportunities for Third Parties

Just as computers began as devices that performed a single function, so did cell phones. Cell phones started to become popular in the mid 1990s, and today, a vast majority of the population owns a cell phone. The newest innovation in cell phones is the smartphone. While it’s arguable which smartphone came first, most agree that the iPhone was the smartphone that broke the mold and set the tone for all the smartphones that followed. The iPhone and other smartphones provide a unique opportunity for third party developers, allowing these developers to create software applications and products designed for the smartphones. In addition, there are an assortment of non-technical peripherals, such as Ed Hardy iPhone cases and belt holsters.

Smartphones will continue to advance, and in the not so distant future, it’s quite possible that smartphones will become all encompassing portable media devices that incorporate the qualities of GPS devices, music and video players, phones (of course), radios, and even laptops.

Unlike other cell phones that boast a mere smattering of features, the BlackBerry, with its superb functionality, is the cell phone of choice amongst business people and professionals. The new BlackBerry models, like the BlackBerry Curve, are capable of so much more than a traditional cell phone; they’re GPS devices, cameras, and media players as well. BlackBerrys are preferred by business people and professionals because of their smooth interface and superior capacity for organization.  Because BlackBerrys are at the pinnacle of technology, they also retain their functionality for several years to come, instead of being outdated in a few months like other phones.  A BlackBerry Curve is also an ideal device for communication with its 240 minutes of talk time and over 400 hours of standby time.

While other cell phones quickly become outdated, a BlackBerry keeps you at the peak of technology.  You can also purchase a BlackBerry without committing to one specific service provider, unlike certain other cell phone models. And if you want all of the cool features without looking like a stiff business exec, you can purchase Ed Hardy BlackBerry cases for your device.

I do not know how anyone enjoys a phone without buttons!  Touch Screens make it virtually impossible for me to text or email.  It just does not appeal to me at all!

The Iphone is a stylish phone, but can you really use the phone aspect of it?  I love the Ed Hardy Iphone Cases though!  I especially love the  Love Kills Slowly cases.  You have to have one of these cases just to tell yours apart from all your friends phones!
