Ready for some SEC play
I am looking forward to another weekend of SEC football! This weekend my Razorbacks take on last years national champs…the Auburn Tigers. Luckily we are playing at Razorback stadium with a 6 o’clock kick-off!
This gives me plenty of time to fire up the grill, get the beer on ice and get game time ready with all of our NCAA merchandise! There is nothing better than getting all our friends and family together for these exciting SEC games!
Happy Birthday to you!
Today is my brothers birthday. I hope he enjoys the gift I sent…I had a box of his favorite cigars shipped to him. I just hope they arrive in time for the weekend!
He has been under tremedous stress like most of us have been lately. I just hope he gets them in time for the weekend so he can kick-back, relax, light up a cigar with a cold beer in his koozie and fire up the grill. There is no better way to unwind from a stressful week at work!
South Carolina Wins!
Well the College World Series ended on Tuesday with a South Carolina victory over the Florida Gators! I can’t believe how well the SEC baseball teams are playing. I think the SEC baseball is getting right up there with their football teams in terms of strength.
I know I was celebrating…maybe not a South Carolina victory, but SEC victory. To me it didn’t matter who won. I was just proud to be an SEC fan. Being a Hog fan, I just got to sit back, relax and cheer on my SEC teams with a cold beer in my koozie!
One Shining Moment…For Duke
I was a little disappointed at last night’s NCAA championship game. I thought I didn’t care who won, but as the story unfolded I was pulling more for the under dogs.
I was sporting my Duke NCAA Koozie at game time to show my support, but quietly I was hoping that Butler could pull off another upset. It would have been the perfect Cinderella story!
Easter baskets aren’t just for kids!
Do you ever put together Easter baskets for your husband or wife? I say the Easter Bunny isn’t just for kids!
I just created a basket full of NCAA koozies of my husbands favorite team. This is a perfect way to decorate a basket full of sports themed plastic eggs and candy. Not to mention he will love his new koozies this summer…a must have to keep his Miller Light cold!
SEC Tournament Play
Ok, so my beloved Razorbacks lost in the first round of SEC tournament play. Guess I’m going to have to root on my neighbors from Tennessee…Vanderbilt.
It’s a chilly day without the sun in sight, but still enjoying a cold beverage. Keeping my hands warm with my Vanderbilt NCAA Koozie. Go Commodores!!!
NCAA Conference Tournament Time!!!
It’s conference tournament time! It’s time to root on your favorite NCAA team and get your fan gear out!
I know I can’t wait to see how the SEC tournament plays out. I’m ready to cheer on my beloved Razorbacks and show support by drinking a ice cold beer in my Razorback NCAA koozie. Then time to gear up for March Madness!!!
Can the Hogs make it back to Omaha?
I’m getting excited about opening baseball season this weekend. I’m going to cheer on my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks at Baum Stadium….just hoping the weather holds out! They’ve chenged the forecast to 43 degrees with cloudy skies, but no worries! I have my Razorback NCAA Koozies to keep those finger warm while enjoying my favorite beverage!
Hoping the Hogs can repeat the run they made to Omaha last year. It looks very promising as several key players are returning. GO HOGS!
Tailgate Party Tips

It used to be a pizza and some beer before a game, but tailgate parties have become a great American sports tradition, especially at top party schools when it’s college football season. Drive to an outdoor setting-preferably outside the stadium, but really, the world is your venue–park the vehicle, pull down the tailgate, and prepare the eats. Be sure and wear all your team apparel, bring your noisemakers, outfit your vehicle with college trailer hitch covers and tire covers, and if you’re one of those people who paints your face and body in team colors out of sheer devotion, rock on with your bad self!
One tip for a successful tailgate party is to keep the food quick, easy and social-finger foods are preferred, so that people can celebrate touchdowns, walk around and chat without utensils flying everywhere. Buffalo wings, burgers, ribs, meatballs, deviled eggs, sandwiches, bratwurst, pizza, breadsticks, and chicken legs are some classic tailgate party foods. If you are tailgating at home, make sure you have enough seating to accommodate your party guests where everyone can see the TV-and clear enough counter and table space for the food and drink. Disposable plates and utensils and garbage bags for cleanup are essential, inside or out. Tailgating from your vehicle requires enough seating for its occupants, a grill if necessary, and a portable radio or TV, but if you drive a truck or SUV, you may be able to add a table or even a beach umbrella. The traditional tailgate party beverage is beer, and the best way to show your team support and keep your brew chilled is with NCAA koozies.
