Movie Night in the backyard…what a great idea!
I just saw a clip that Holly Robinson Peete put together showing how to make a summer night full of fun by having movie night in the backyard under the stars. I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer night especailly for the kids! It would be a lot of fun to have a cook-out and while it is still light out they could play in their tunnel play tent and at dark we could start the movie!
I am going to start planning this party! Great friends, good food and the kids will love it! What a great family night!
Inside Summer Fun!
I had so much fun at my brothers house last week playing with the kiddos in the backyard in their play tents that I am going to have a play date set up for my niece to come over and play too. This was such a great idea to set these up inside and let the kids explore and play make believe! It is way too hot outside to enjoy anything unless you are in the water.
These tents are a great way to let the kids play inside and stay cool! Believe me, it was a welcome to us parents too!
Come on NFL…Agree Already!
The NFL better start getting it together. I can’t believe this lock-out has been going on so long. Do you realize that in just a little over a month from now they are supposed to start pre-season play? How can I root on my beloved Cowboys if there is no football?
I can’t imagine a long cold winter without nfl football. Sundays are my favorite day…lounging on the couch with my family, cooking great food and having a cold beer in hand in my cowboys nfl camo koozie!
My newest purchase for my little one
I’m so excited for football season. I know summer is just kicking off, but I’m excited about my newest ncaa merchandise I just picked up for my four month old little boy. I found razorback baby bootie slippers and I can’t wait to put them on his little feet for game time!
He is going to be so cute sitting next to his dad on the couch all decked out for game time! Now if I could only find his dad a matching pair!
South Carolina Wins!
Well the College World Series ended on Tuesday with a South Carolina victory over the Florida Gators! I can’t believe how well the SEC baseball teams are playing. I think the SEC baseball is getting right up there with their football teams in terms of strength.
I know I was celebrating…maybe not a South Carolina victory, but SEC victory. To me it didn’t matter who won. I was just proud to be an SEC fan. Being a Hog fan, I just got to sit back, relax and cheer on my SEC teams with a cold beer in my koozie!
