A Ton of Birthdays Coming Up!
My family has a ton of birthdays coming up in the next few months. I have been trying to come up with a perfect gift and realized what I could do. Whether it is my mom, dad or in-laws, all of them will love NCAA merchandise.I can put together a gift basket for each of them with t-shirts, koozies, gloves, etc for the upcoming football season! I know they’ll love it!
My Nephews…The Future Duck Hunters
My nephews love to play duck hunting. They will be in the backyard for hours pretending that they have their pretend rifles shooting ducks. Camouflage gear from head to toe. They will hide behind the bushes for hours shooting pretend ducks all day.
One afternoon they came running into the house and told me that they couldn’t see the ducks. It was to bright outside, and the sun was hurting their eyes. They ran into their rooms and came back with camo sunglasses on. I could not stop giggling for the life of me. It was the cutest thing to see. They will make excellent hunters some day. My nephews certainly have the look down.
My First Job
My very first job was babysitting. I was the neighborhood sitter. Being the oldest of all the neighborhood kids, it made sense. I loved playing with the kids and coming up with new and inventive ways to entertain them. Having a big imagination helped. That is probably why I was the favorite.
I was always trying to find new and different ways to entertain. One of the things that I found was a kids tunnel. It was a long tube that you could maneuver throughout the house. It was very easy to fold back up and store. I would bring it to all my babysitting gigs. No matter how old my kids were it was fun for all of them.
